A seated operator has quick access to all of its selfcontained components, including RF generator, emission source, optics, electronics, cooling recirculator, vacuum pump, computer, monitor, printer —and even an optional sample changer! The low-flow plasma emission source is powered by a crystal-controlled, all solid-state generator, microprocessor-controlled to provide simple push-button ignition. Simplicity and accuracy are
assured by precise digital control of output power. Wavelength scanning by Baird's patented harmonic drive system covers the complete spectrum in less than two seconds.
