Ten commercial samples of boron trichloride and a commerclai sample of boron trifluoride were analyzed for purity by Fourier transform mass spectrometry. Quantitation was based on ion Intensitles, which were corrected for Ionization cross sections of the molecule, fragment ion abundance, and dmuslon rate into the mass spectrometer.
