WEB SITES For quick access to pesticide-related laws, regulations, guidance and policy documents, enforcement decisions, and news on the latest developments in pesticide legislation, go to PestLaw Online (http://www. pestlaw.com), a site maintained by the law offices of James C. Wright of Manassas, Va. Other features include links to Federal Register notices snd press releases from EPA, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and other agencies and organizations concerning conventional pesticides, biopesticides, and antimicrobial pesticides. The Canadian Centre for Pollution Prevention's Wbb site (http://c2p2. sarnia.com/) serves as a clearinghouse for a range of information, including business projects, publications, names, numbers, and listserve and e-mail addresses of pollution prevention organizations. Extensive links are provided to other Internet sites. Although the site primarily focuses on Canadian organizations and achievements, information is provided about international efforts. Summaries of each state's water quality assessment can be found at EPA's Water Quality Report page (http://www.epa.gov/305b). The biennial reports provide information about what percentage of lakes, river,, wetlands, and estuaries in each state meet desired uses such as swimming, fishing, or supporting healthy aquatic life; if uses are not met, pollution sources are identified. The site also includes the National Water Quality Inventory 1996 Report to Congress, which provides a snapshot of the nation's water quality. Free copies of the Land View III™ mapping program are available through the Right-to-Know Network Web site (http://www.RTK.NET:80/ landview/). This Windows-based

program creates detailed street maps displaying natural landmarks, EPAregulated sites, and demographic and economic information from the 1990 census. The system includes data from EPA, the Bureau of the Census, the U.S. Geological Survey, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the Department of Transportation, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Additional information about Land View can be found on the Bureau of the Census site (http://www. census.gov/apsd/pp98/pp.html). Linkages (http://www.iisd.ca), a site maintained by the International Institute for Sustainable Development, makes it easy to keep track of international environmental negotiations. It includes extensive sections devoted to most major international environmental issues, including climate change, chemical management, forest policy, ocean policy, and sustainable development. Linkages is also the home of the Earth Negotiations Bulletin, an independent report service that provides daily coverage of United Nations negotiations.
