Correction Integrating Polymerase Chain Reaction, Valving, and Electrophoresis in a Plastic Device for Bacterial Detection Chee G. Koh, Woei Tan, Ming-qi Zhao, Antonio J. Ricco,* and Z. Hugh Fan* (Anal. Chem. 2003, 75, 4591-4598)

On page 4597, left column, line 20-23, we incorrectly stated that the 232 base-pair amplicon we selected for the identification of E. coli is strain-specific. It should read, “As shown by Legace et al., the primer set designed for E. coli and the resultant amplicon of 232 bp is organism-specific,7 allowing differentiation of E. coli from other microorganisms”. We regret the error, and we appreciate the attentiveness of Mr. Eric Lagally and Professor Richard Mathies in bringing it to our attention. AC035124J 10.1021/ac035124j Published on Web 10/17/2003
