In Table 3, the calcium-stimulated activity of KJM-41 (V-I444/AA) should be 1.80 (not 2.70), which makes it equivalent to 56% the activity of the wt (not 84%). This shows that the removal of large hydrophobic residues at the C-terminal end of the intramolecular binding site can disrupt intramolecular activation of a CDPK.
