Introducing the 8057

HAZARDOUS GAS LEAK DETECTOR Personal, pocket-sized gas leak detection is here. Small gas leaks can be dangerous if undetected. The pocket size Model 8057 detects minute gas leaks before they become a real problem. Worn on a belt, this compact, lightweight ( 14 oz. ) unit can go places other bulky, more complex leak detectors can't, so even remote locations can easily be checked for potentially dangerous gas leaks. The unit can detect leaks from cylinder connections, fittings, storage vessels, piping and tubing in your laboratory or plant. It can also be used to screen incoming cylinders for leaks around the valve. The Model 8057 features a new solid state/thermal conductivity sensor that detects many gases. When a leak is detected, an audible tone and flashing LED alerts the user. For noisy environments, an earplug is provided. The Model 8057 comes complete with NiCad batteries, charger and accessory probe. For more information and price, call Matheson at (201) 867-4100 or circle the Reader Service Number below.
