A M O C O 121
A barium detergent for motor oils that performs these functions: (1) prevents deposits from "Stop and Go" driving, (2) provides high-temperature detergency, (3) neutralizes acids, (4) improves viscosity index.
A M O C O 901
A new product in the Amoco additive line. This is also a barium-type detergent. Formulations containing it as the primary detergent have been qualified under MIL-L-2104B and will meet the five MS sequences.
A M O C O 193
Multi-functional zinc dithiophosphate motor oil inhibitor. It inhibits oil oxidation, protects bearings from corrosion, prevents excessive wear of engine parts.
A M O C O 200
AMOCO
Series
Additives in this series are combinations of AMOCO 121 Detergent and 193 Inhibitor. A wide choice of blends, with which to fully compound motor oils, is available. These blends insure correct component balance in the finished oil.
A M O C O 600
An especially effective VI improver which also helps provide easier starting, increased gasoline mileage, less ORI, greater shear stability and better oil mileage.
A M O C O 508
In furnace oils and diesel fuels, AMOCO 508 retards the formation of gum and sediment, prevents the plugging of filters and screens and protects storage tanks and handling equipment from rust.
A M O C O 520
With these metal deactivators, less antioxidant is needed for coppercontaminated gasoline stocks, treating costs are lower and storage life is extended. They also prevent gels resulting from copper mercaptides in sour heating oil and diesel fuel.

Series
Three chemical types of gasoline antioxidants, for economical and effective protection from gum formation, are included in this series.
A M O C O 541
541 is chemically different from other phosphorus additives. It has proved especially efficient in controlling surface ignition and spark plug fouling. It restores the performance of fouled plugs. It does not add to ORJ nor shorten valve life.
A M O C O 661
Developed especially for oils for use in two-cycle gasoline engines, AMOCO 661 is effective in maintaining engine cleanliness and in controlling spark plug fouling and preignition associated with the use of leaded fuels. It has superior rust prevention properties and capacity to combat harmful effects of fuel phosphorus.
