MIS 150/200 is a monochromatic illu mination system which can employ a xenon, xenon-mercury, or mercury high-pressure arc lamp up to 200 W. A grating monochromator designed into the system permits the discretely vari able selection of output light wave length. The monochromator can be equipped with an optional motor drive for automatic wavelength scanning at speeds of up to 400 nm/min. Kratos 415

Accessories for UV/Visible Spectrometers Two accessories are available for the company's Models 552 and 559 UV/ Visible Spectrophotometers. SAFE MEMORY, a microprocessor-based ac cessory, provides nine separate memo ry locations for nonvolatile storage of all keyboard operating parameters. The user can, therefore, recall all operating conditions for up to nine different analy ses through a single keystroke opera tion. The other accessory, the INFOMATE printer, can also be used with the Lambda 3 UV/Visible Spectrophotome ter. The INFOMATE printer can provide, on a 5-in tape, a list of every spectro photometer keyboard parameter. Perkin-Elmer 424

Chemicals Activated Support REACTI-GEL (25DF) is an activated sup port for affinity chromatography and en zyme immobilization. Chemically, it is 1,1 '-carbonyldiimidazole activated crosslinked beaded dextran. Its bed vol ume is 3-4 mL/g with an activation level of 100 μηιοΐββ^. It can be direct ly added to protein solution in dry form without prior swelling. $50/5g package. Pierce Chemical Co. 426
