The Division seeks a person of notable national and international achievement as a teacher and scholar who will contribute significantly to the growth and reputations of the Division through dynamic leadership in research, and graduate and undergraduate teaching. The successful candidate is expected to have an earned doctorate and expertise in environmental engineering or a closely relatedfield,with a research specialization complementary to that of the current faculty; professional registration is desirable. ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER Position requires an MS in Environmental Engineering with a thorough knowledge of the design and operation of municipal solid waste management systems and computer modeling of solid waste systems; training in design optimization through linear programming and other optimization techniques; familiarity with computer hardware and computer programming particularly in the area of databases, computer modeling, and spreadsheets; training in life cycle analysis including spreadsheet development and data analysis.
