HIGH TEMPERATURE FURNACE DESIGN

A NEW APPROACH The special control unit supplied for use with the "K" furnace.

The platinum-wound resistance furnace is well-known as the most convenient source of high temperatures for laboratory work and for small-scale processing. It also has the lowest overall operating cost. These advantages are particularly evident in the new JMC Model " K " furnaces. A novel and functional design derived from many years of experience has been developed into a range of furnaces of outstanding reliability and economy, simple and robust in construction and of attractive appearance. The zone of uniform temperature is exceptionally large in relation to the size of the chamber. Model " K " furnaces are produced in a range of sizes for maximum working temperatures of 1350° or 1500°C Standard manual or automatic controls are available for single-phase A.C. supply. Other furnaces with either tubular or rectangular element chambers are manufactured for use at temperatures up to 1750°C. Full technical details are available on request. SPECIALIZED
