If it proves interesting, you can print it and read it in any setting you choose. It is no longer necessary to go to the library, locate an issue of JCE, and read or photocopy the article you want. You can obtain the information you want from JCE CD in several ways. If you know the year and month in which an article was published, or if you remember what the cover of the issue looked like, a mouse click or two will bring you to the table of contents of the issue you want. The title of each article is a link that takes you to the article itself as well as an abstract and links to any supplemental material accompanying the article. The CD is fully searchable using Adobe Acrobat Reader with searching (which is included on the CD). You can search the full text of all articles on the CD for any word, partial word, or phrase. A successful search produces a list of links to the articles that contain the text for which you searched. This text is highlighted in each article. Many references in the Literature Cited section at the end of each article are linked so that a mouse click will take you to the cited article. If that article is not on the CD and you have an Internet connection, the linked reference will take you to JCE Online. WWW URLs in articles are also linked directly to Web sites, including many other than JCE Online.
