K-FIN AIR-COOLED SECTIONS are incorporated in the

FIN-FAN HEAT EXCHANGER

I n the Fin-Fan Heat Exchanger, a joint development of The Fluor Corp., Ltd. and The Griscom-Russell Co., fluid cooling and condensing services are accomplished by G-R Κ-FIΝ SECTIONS utilizing Fan-circulated atmospheric air a s the coolant. This represents the most recent application of G-R K-FIN ELEMENTS, the patented Helically-Finned Tube devel oped over fifteen years ago, and used in m a n y thousands of units for heating and cooling car and other gases. Portion of K-Fin tubing. This finned tubing hot also proven its effectiveness and dura bility in shell-and-tube typo vapor condens ers involving cooling of non-condensibles, gas-to-liquid heat exchangers including steam generating elements, and reboiters.

Note the provision in the headers for accessibility to the tube interiors plus the fully demountable supports employed, both distinctive features permitting internal cleaning and replace ment of individual elements.
