These unsaturated dibasic acids have a wide range of polymer applications. Their unusual multi-functionality results in some highly specialized and unique properties. Itaconic acid, for example, improves the adhesive properties of latices. And its diesters are equally versatile. Itaconic and fumaric acids are monomers available in quantity from Pfizer. Ask your Pfizer representative about them. Or, write our nearest Regional Office direct for technical literature.
