Efficient Separator-QO FURFURAL The inexpensive potato peeler does a very efficient job of removing the peeling from the portion of the potato used under gravy. While QO furfural is not recommended for potato peeling, it is an efficient, low cost means of separating saturates from unsaturates in chemical processing. The sharply preferential solvent action of QO furfural is, or can be, used in such specific applications as: Refining Lube Oils Treating Cycle Stock Purifying Butadiene Upgrading Gas Oil
Decolorizing W o o d Rosin Separating Glycerides Cobalt and Nickel Ion Separation Boosting Naphthalene Production
And the list is still growing as imaginative men apply furfural to their process problems. Perhaps we can help you peel off the undesirables in your process. Tell us the nature of material you wish to separate and we'll try to help you. For physical data on QO furfural, write for Bulletin 203-A.
