As we are aware, very small q u a n t i ties of a pesticide are h a r m f u l , and these quantities must be deter mined w i t h accuracy and precision. M C / B Pesticidequality Solvents are free of pesticide residues—or other residues—which would interfere w i t h pesticide analysis. MC/B's specification is 5 nanograms per liter of a c h l o r i n a t e d pesticide . . . a new and more stringent spec ification. SOLVENT
ANALYSIS
MC/B's Pesticidequality solvents are analyzed in c o m b i n a t i o n w i t h a pre pared standard f o r chlorinated pes t i c i d e , sulfur (as in Parathion), and phosphorus.

A sample of p r o d u c t is concen trated (500 ml t o 5 . 0 m l ) , see Figure 1, and five μ I of the concentrate is injected in both ECD and FPD modes. The recorder deflection must be less than the standard in either mode for the product to pass our specifications.
