T h e jaws of t h e clamp are hot-dipped in a tough, vinyl plastisol coating which replaces t h e rubber sleeves formerly used a n d becomes a permanent part of the clamp. According t o Fisher, t h e coating provides larger gripping surface, better water resistance, a n d superior aging qualities.
