Radioactivity Demonstrator, designed for education and industry, is port able and transistorized. The com pany says it can be used to show the statistical nature of particle emis sion frequency, the dependence of detected radiation on distance from the source, and the absorption of different types of radiation by vari ous materials. Semi-Micro Glassware Condensers, flasks, apparatus for dis tillation and drying, needle valves, and special units are included in the MiteO-Ware line of semi-micro glassware. These are all grease-free systems and use O-ring joints made of a fluorine elastomer (Viton A). Positive sealing is attained down to 10 -8 mm. over a temperature range of —40° to 500° F. Micro-Regulating laboratory feed pumps have hydraulically actuated diaphragm design, which is said to provide zero leakage pumping. It is available for maximum pumping ca pacity of 2V2 gal- per hour. There are six different plunger sizes, three standard gear ratios, and three motor speeds for flexibility in design. The stroke can be adjusted to flow rates of less than 5 ml. per hour.
