HPCE '98 The 11th International Symposium on High-Performance Capillary Electrophoresis and Related Microscale Techniques will be held Jan. 31-Feb. 5, at the Hyatt Orlando Convention Center in Orlando, FL. Preceding the symposium is a two-day short course on practical CE, a one day short course on CE/MS, and four half-day workshops (Lab on a Chip, Time-of-Flight MS, Capillary Electrochromatography, and Hyphenated NMRTechniques). Presentations and poster sessions will cover advances in CE and capillary electrochromatography microscale analytical techniques and solutions to analytical problems such as protein chemistry and DNA analysis

On Sunday, the opening session will feature talks by Raymond A. Dwek, Matthais Mann, and Jeremy K. Nicholson. On Thursday, the closing session will feature talks by James Jorgenson, James Landers, Werner G. Kuhr, and J. Michael Ramsey. Other events include a three-day exhibition of the latest instrumentation and supplies, industrial seminars, late-breaking lecture sessions, poster sessions, and complimentary receptions on Sunday and Thursday.
