he 25th International Symposium on High-Performance Liquid-Phase Separations and Related Techniques will be held June 17–22 at the Maastricht Exhibition and Congress Center in Maastricht, The Netherlands. Highlighting the program will be an opening plenary lecture by J. W. Jorgenson of the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill entitled “Combination of Separation Techniques,” and a plenary lecture by Ian D. Wilson of AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals entitled “Combinations with Spectroscopic Techniques”. Other plenary lectures by prominent scientists and more than 500 contributed papers are also on the agenda. Discussion sessions will be held to explore other topics in depth. Exhibitions will feature the latest in hardware, software, and consumables related to separation science. Registration for the meeting begins on Sunday, June 17, from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. On-site registration fees are 750 euros for industry, 650 euros for academia, 350 euros for one-day passes, and 250 euros for students. For information on housing, transportation, and registration, contact Van Namen & Westerlaken Congress Organization Services, P.O.
