Now safely generate ultrapure dry hydrogen anyplace. Anytime. Milton Roy's Elhygen® ERD-150 generates on demand a safe supply of dry, ultrapure hydrogen under pressure. A single unit supplies 150 milliliters/minute from distilled water at a 1,000 to 1 volumetric ratio. Hydrogen produced has fewer than ten parts per billion impurities. Output pressure is adjustable from 0 to 60 psig, ±0.025 psi. Now two or more units can be operated in a master-slave arrangement to increase the output directly proportional to the number of Elhygens being used. A simple tee connection is provided on each Elhygen between the cell and the pressure regulator and an electrical
connector controlled by the master unit's pressure switch. Dual units, as illustrated, produce 300 milliliters/minute with output pressure adjustable. Elhygens are widely used to provide ultrapure, dry H2 to flame ionization detectors, resulting in a flame with no measurable interference. Applications include hydrocarbon analyzers and other gas chromatographs. Elhygens are available with adjustable output pressures to 400 psig.
