he authors would like to make two additions/corrections to the published article. The authors would first like to add reference1 below for a related paper which was not brought to the attention of the editors and reviewers when both this article (A1: ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces 2017, 9 (16), 14328− 14336, DOI: 10.1021/acsami.6b14948) and the related article1 were under review. The authors regret that this related paper was not brought to the attention of the editors and reviewers and are thankful for the opportunity to now include it via this addition/correction. Second, Figure 3c in this article (A1) was mistakenly duplicated from Figure 2a in the related article.1 Since the same batch of the synthesized MnO2 nanowire (MnO2NW) was used in both studies, the typical TEM monograph of MnO2NW was mistakenly used in both papers without a proper citation.
