White, Graeme Hogarth, and James D. E. T. Wilton-Ely* It has come to our attention that there is a repeated error in our earlier paper. It concerns the formula of the palladium complexes, in which the cyclometalated ligand is given as “C,NCH2C6H4NMe2” rather than the correct connectivity of “C,NC6H4CH2NMe2”. Thus, [Pd(C,N-CH2C6H4NMe2)Cl]2 should be [Pd(C,N-C6H4CH2NMe2)Cl]2, [Pd(C,N-CH2C6H4NMe2){S2CN(CH2CHdCH2)2}] (9) becomes [Pd(C,N-C6H4CH2NMe2){S2CN(CH2CHdCH2)2}] (9), and [Pd(C,N-CH2C6H4NMe2)(S 2 CNC 4 H6 )] (13) should be [Pd(C,N-C6 H 4 CH2 NMe 2 ) (S2CNC4H6)] (13). This does not affect any of the spectroscopic attributions in the report (apart from the assignments “CH2Pd”, which should read “CH2NPd”). The chemistry reported and the conclusions reached are unchanged. The corrected Schemes 2 and 3 and Figure 3 are provided below. Scheme 2. Preparation of Diallyldithiocarbamate Complexesa
