ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY

A P P L I A N C E

Exhibiting: Booth 97: the Quantichcm analyzer, the Vibron pH electrometer, which is direct reading to ±0.002 pH units, and the Chemalyzer automatic colorimetric anlyzer for determining water hardness, chlorine residual, phosphate concentration or other water constituents colorimetrically. The Chemalyzer in strument has an accuracy of ± 3 % in the 0 to 3 p.p.m. range. It has an integral alarm circuit needed for monitor ing water softeners, chlorinators, and chemical feeders. Booth 401: the Chemalyzer automatic colorimetric analyzer, Serfass hydrogen purifier, Serfass mechanically refrigerated cold trap, the Versa pump, and the Milton Roy chromatographic miniPump. The hydrogen purifier uses a special palladium alloy that does such an excellent job of separating hydrogen from other gases that no trace of impurities can be found in the exit hydrogen. The Serfass cold trap provides temperatures down to —140° F. automatically without the use of in flammable or toxic liquids. The Versa pump can provide pressures to 100 p.s.i. or vacuums to 50 microns. With attach ments it will pull vacuums to 1 0 - 6 milli meters of mercury. It is a versatile laboratory apparatus with multiple uses. The chromatographic miniPump will meter chemicals at capacities to three ml./hr. with accuracies of ±0.10 milli liter. Representatives at Exhibit: John Procopi, John Mitchell, Evans Andreacola. General Product Line: Manufacturing en gineers of controlled volume pumps, chemical feed systems, relief and back pressure valves, process-stream analyzers, pH meters, gas purifiers and analyzers, and laboratory equipment.
