Association h a s de posited in Crerar Library, 1300 trans lations which form nucleus of pool. A list of these translations will be avail able for distribution presently. Arrange ments are also underway for listing of future contributions in technological journals i n the fields covered b y the translations. The association is solicit ing contributions from government agencies, technical societies, universi ties, industries, and individuals. Since National Science Foundation is establishing a center for holding and photoduplicating scientific translations with particular emphasis on those in Russian, t h e S.L.A. translation pool will be devoted to translations from lang uages other than Russian.
