BEYOND THE FLYLEAF book is " S t r u c t u r e " evolving from chaos through ordering forces or controlling rules. T h e book does n o t , it is claimed, att e m p t t o supersede or replace other sources of information, traditionally known as textbooks. T h e author recognizes t h e rashness of his undertaking b u t hopes that the boldness is n o t unjustified. T h e r e are evidences throughout the work that t h e textbook does intrude, sometimes with lack of satisfaction to the reader that t h e items discussed were not treated more in detail. Almost all t h e items found in textbooks are presented somewhere in t h e book, sometimes surprisingly situated in the six parts of t h e book entitled successively: T h e W o r l d as a Molecular Chaos; Control of t h e Chaos by Q u a n t u m L a w s ; T h e Electrical Basis of Matter; Forces; T h e Forms of Matter in Equilibrium; and Passage T o w a r d s Equilibrium. T h e titles of these sections indicate t h e measure of deviation from the normal textbook rhythm. T h e book can definitely serve as a refresher course for one sated with too prolonged a diet of standard texts,. Even the order of introduction of t h e various topics will immediately arrest . such a reader, w h o may, however, b e also somevvhat antagonized on finding his normal sequences of subject matter dispersed in the matrix of t h e author's philosophy,
