Simply slip a spare frame into place and you're back on-stream in minutes. Removed frame can then be carried to a more convenient location for servicing. Incidentally, that frame is of one-piece construc tion. The stuffing box cover is bolted directly to it — so you can remove the entire rotating assembly from the casing (see inset, above) without disturbing the stuffing box. You never have to worry about mis alignment during re-assembly, because there's a complete 360° locating fit between the bearing frame and stuffing box cover. Adjusting impeller clearances is even easier. You don't have to dismantle anything, because you can
