"HYDRO-PRECIPITROL"

Industry's solution to air pollut on T h e "HYDRO-PRECIPITROL' is a n integrated wettedwall electrostatic precipitator that effectively collects particulates and aerosols from industrial g a s streams. Lightweight, compact and easily installed, it removes pollutants of less than 1 micron - even below .01 micron. It has been successfully demonstrated in a wide range of applications, including chemicals, glass, meat smoking, pulp and paper, fertilizer, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and coal-fired power boilers. Basically, the unit consists of a series of concentric cylinders and concentric cages equally spaced between the cylinders. High voltage is applied to the electrode discharge cages. A high energy field is created wherein particulates in the g a s stream a r e charged and collected by a thin film of liquid flowing down the cylinder wall. T h e g a s stream flows vertically upward through the "HY DRO-PRECIPITROL:' T h e "HYDRO-PRECIPITROL" can b e used with existing equipment or can be custom-tailored. Compactness allows it to be assembled and factory-tested before delivery.
