PMDA Pyromellitic Dianhydride

High purity product now available in commercial quantities. Call us today for five pounds or a carload.

A new, continuous, one-step process developed by Princeton Chemical Research and based on catalytic, air oxidation now brings you pyromellitic dianhydride of high purity. Because chemical oxidizers are not introduced into the process, a product of unprecedented purity is obtained. Our new process has unique economic advantages over existing processes, with capabilities to produce larger quantities at prices substantially below our introductory price schedule. This, we believe, offers distinct advantages to those considering PMDA in research and development of new products.

APPLICATIONS

PMDA acts as a curing agent for epoxy resins. It is particularly useful in adhesives, molding powders and fluidized-bed coatings. It is also used in preparation of polyimides, polyamides, polyesters and alkyd resins. PMDA imparts excellent heat resistance to polymers. It has shown technical advantages in plasticizers and hightemperature lubricants. AVAILABILITY
