NEW POLYMERS from vinyl acetate

ARMOUR CHEMICAL DIVISION D e s i g n e d for q u a l i f i e s you w a n t — a polyvinyl acetate emulsion integrally plasticized. Deposits strong, t o u g h , flexible, water resistant films. Further plasticizing often unnecessary. Are y o u interested in these properties:

Tensile on free films, 2 , 2 0 0 psi. Elongation 3 0 0 % .

Solids — 55% pH — 4-5

Flexibility equivalent to a b o u t 10% plasticizer o n o r d i n a r y poly­ vinyl acetate solids. Flexibility permanent—no migration or evap­ oration.

Particle Size — Mostly under one micron Viscosity — About 2,000 cp

W a t e r resistance shown by film on glass withstanding a b o u t 5 0 0 w e t rubs. O r d i n a r y polyvinyl acetate emulsion films fail in less than 5 0 wet rubs.
