New material offers high hardness from 55 to 95 Shore “A,” low viscosity, low propensity to form fumes and odors, high impact resistance, high load bearing capacity, and elevated temperature resistance. Film insulation for special cryogenic applications and environments as low as -450” F. is available in ranges of densities from 1.5 to 16.0 lb./cu. ft.
