Sargent-Slomin

For High Speed Quantitative Analysis of F e r r o u s a n d non-ferrous m e t a l s a n d alloys Electroplating solutions and electro-deposits Ores a n d Minerals M e t a l s in biological materials M e t a l s in foods, soils, etc. Forensic -Materials Micro a n d semi-micro specimens Designed for continuous performance This fine instrument has been re-designed to produce smooth, close-grained deposits—reduce deposition time, materially—give continuous trouble-free performance. Each unit is mounted in a case consisting of a onepiece stainless steel panel, beaker platform and apron, with sturdy end castings. The two position analyzers have two complete, inde pendently operating analyzer circuits. Duplicate or check analyses can be run simultaneously. The central electrode is rotated by a synchronous, capacitor wound motor. Operating at 550 r.p.m., es pecially engineered for this application. Outstanding features of the motor are : Greater output than any motor of similar size and characteristics . . . No internal switches or brushes . . . No "permanent" magnets—full out put during long service life . . . No speed change with change of load—fully synchronous. Electrode chucks are made of stainless steel. Special corrugated platinum electrodes designed for the SargentSlomin Electrolytic Analyzer, rapidly produce smooth, close-grained deposits, at maximum current density. 22450 Electrolytic Analyzer—Sargent-Slomin, Single position, with heating plate. For operation from 115 volt, 50/60 cycle circuits $250.00 22454 Electrolytic Analyzer—Sargent-Slomin, Two position, with heating plate. For operation from 115 volt, 50/60 cycle circuits $395.00 22460 Anode—Platinum Gauge, corrugated form, high speed (patent pending) Price Subject to market 22462 Cathode—Platinum Gauge, corrugated form, high speed (patent pending) Price Subject to market Immediate shipment from stock.
