NOW... A NEW SERIES OF 4 NON-STRINGY WATER-SOLUBLE POLYETHYLENE OXIDE RESINS N e w P O L Y O X W S R - N resins h a v e a low pituitous character. Their aqueous solutions are more stable to mechanical a n d chemical degradation. Some grades h a v e unusually low viscosity a t high concentrations a n d all are easy t o prepare. Could one of these four new polymers solve y o u r current problem? Like other P O L Y O X resins, t h e W S R - N series is completely soluble in water, solutions h a v e excellent lubricity or "feel," wide compatibility, and a very low order of toxicity. B o t h series are available in commercial quantities. Y o u can use t h e m as a w a r p size additive, a binder for non-woven fabrics and ceramics, in cosmetics for film forming, stability, and feel characteristics, as a binder for pharmaceuticals, in p a i n t remover formulations, in grease-proof coatings, or as a lubricant or hydraulic fluid additive. Other applications are as close as your lab. N O W . . . THE BROADEST LINES OF RESINS — MOLECULAR WEIGHTS FROM 2 0 0 TO 10 M I L L I O N THE MOST COMPLETE VISCOSITY SPECTRUM AVAILABLE POLYOX W S R - N resins bridge t h e gap in solution properties between t h e lowest molecular weight grade of polyethylene oxide, POLYOX W S R 35, a n d t h e highest molecular weight grade of CARBOWAX polyethylene glycol, 20M. For t h e first time, you can prepare concentrated solutions (20-30 per cent) of POLYOX resins and handle t h e m with ease.
