In several plants, on several different products, the Oliver Precoat Filter has proved to be a practical filter f o r h a n d l i n g the peculiar, almost unfilterable, solids p r o d u c e d in the various processes. The cakes f o r m e d are thin, sticky a n d f l o w - r e t a r d i n g yet the Precoats handle them effectively a n d economically. In some instances the Precoats are 'continuous vacuum'; in others, 'continuous p r e s s u r e / Either d e s i g n , they sure are d o i n g g o o d work.
