ON STREAM SOON... JEFFERSON ETHYLENE AMINES

Our new ethylene amines plant at Jefferson's 1100-acre plant site in Port Neches, Texas, will be on stream around midyear. It won't look quite like this high runoff at Horseshoe Dam, but, on the other hand, 50 million pounds of ethylene amines capacity isn't exactly a trickle. We'll be supplying you with high

quality ethylenediamine ( E D A ) , diethylenetriamine ( D E T A ) , t r i ethylenetetramine (TETA), tetraethylenepentamine ( T E P A ) , a n d mixtures. Aminoethylethanolamine (AEEA), a derivative of ethylenediamine, will also be produced in quantity. These chemicals will greatly broaden our well established line of amines. Jefferson has long

been a major supplier of ethanolamines, morpholine and piperazine, and a leader in amine technology. What we're really saying is, don't sign any long-term commitments for ethlyene amines until you've talked to Jefferson. You get that extra molecule of care from Jefferson Chemical Company, Inc., P. O. Box 53300, Houston, Texas 77052.
