2001, Volume 105B V. Fenelonov*, G. Kodenev, and V. Kostrovsky: On the Dependence of Surface Tension of Liquids on the Curvature of the Liquid-Vapor Interface Page 1053. Table 1 in this paper is not rendered in detail and can result in some misunderstanding. In this table, all references (the seventh column) correspond only to the values of the surface tension, σ0, for reference bulk liquid phases. All experimental values of the surface tension, σ (the fifth column), as is noted on page 1052, are reprinted from earlier papers published in collaboration with Professors V. Kostrovsky or G. Kodenev in Russian: data for dibutylphthalate at temperatures below 293 K are from ref 47; data for pentanol, butanol, and propanol are from ref 53; data for water are from unpublished data by G. Kodenev; the rest are from ref 46. The specification of the various sources of the data does not affect the main conclusions of the paper about the absence of a significant influence of surface curvature on the values of surface tension, σ. 10.1021/jp014721b Published on Web 01/23/2003
