lipoic acid (CCAL) was a novel multifunctional nano delivery system exhibited longterm stability at room temperature and high encapsulation efficiency. Which containing two kinds of antioxidants (coenzyme Q10 and alpha-lipoic acid) and two antibacterial agents (chitosan and alpha-lipoic acid). However, the further biocompatibility, such as cytotoxicity and antioxidant activity, and antimicrobial activity of CCAL, has not been systematically evaluated. Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the cytotoxicity, antioxidant activity and antimicrobial activity of CCAL. Methods: This article evaluated the in vitro cytotoxicity and antioxidant activity of CCAL by CCK8 assay, and antimicrobial activity on Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli was investigated.
