Deadlines to submit new petitions for consideration by Council: Petition Deadline Applicable Meeting April 30, 2008 Fall 2008 national meeting in Philadelphia, PA Per Article XVII, Section 2, f, (second paragraph), Council-approved amendments to the Society’s Constitution "shall be submitted to the membership for vote at the time of the next SOCIETY election...." Bylaw V, Section 3, c, establishes the deadline of elections as being "on or before October 10...." The following Articles and Bylaws pertain to petitions for changing the Society’s Constitution and Bylaws: Articles XVI, XVII, and XVIII, and Bylaw XIII.
