Our Law of Motion Celanese subscribes to the principle of perpetual motion— forward. And enforces it vigorously to increase distribution m o m e n t u m . To deliver the best possible chemicals when and where you need them. Our busy Newark Terminal, one of some twenty distribution points throughout the country, is a prime example. In ten years of operation, quick-on-their-feet terminal teams have sampled, analyzed, and sped two billion pounds of Celanese chemicals from ship-toshore-to-customer. And we keep building m o m e n t u m

by using the electronic efficiency of computers to control i n v e n t o r i e s , t a n k c a r l o c a t i o n , d e s t i n a t i o n a n d availability. We expect to distribute a record 300-million pounds of Celanese chemicals through the Terminal this year. And planned expansion calls for 400-million pounds next year. T h e reason for this growth is one we know our customers will verify: Fine products, competitively priced, delivered at the right time and place. Celanese®
