Our people have noses too. That's why they took the sulfur out of Diisobutylene. It's really a remarkable product, diisobutylene. The ease with which it functions as a Cs alkylation intermediate has led to increasing uses in antioxidants, phenolic resins and specialty detergents. But that sulfur smell. Some diisobutylene on the market has several times more sulfur content than our 100 ppm maximum specification. And gets a little rank. Our people, being people, have taken the sulfur content down like crazy. And stored our diisobutylene in selected Eastern sites for instant delivery. And have the necessary technical competence to help you figure out new ways to use it. All of these things are what we mean when we say People Count. They do. So the next time you wish some sweet-smelling ole 2,4,4-trimethylpentene-1 or2,4,4-trimethylpentene-2 give us a holler. (We're the people who take sulfur out of diisobutylene.)
