OxyChem helped Ben & Jerry's solve a sticky problem.

That's not just good for the environment. It's good for business. Each year, companies in the food and construction industries dispose of thousands of plastic containers - usually by sending them to landfills. Ben & Jerry's Homemade, Inc., of Vermont, is as well known for its social conscience as for its super premium ice cream. So they

wanted a better solution. ^ OxyChem helped them find it. Working with Vermont Republic Industries, we set up a program to recycle used high density poly-. ethylene containers. The project combines the latest in innovative technology with a basic spirit of industry cooperation.
