New Text All-Aluminum Package Conveyor An all-aluminum package conveyor de signed to provide increased flexibility in package handling, has been developed by George Haiss Mfg. Co., Inc., New York. Haiss Model 485-Λ will handle bags, bundles, boxes, crates, eartons, and cases weighing up to 500 lb. at the rate of 30 per minute. Its major advantage is its light weight, which enables it to be lifted by two men or carried by three men. An exclusive feature is the fact that it has a detachable coupler unit of aluminum alloy. Any number of t hese conveyors can be combined easily into radially coupled units which carry packages speedily in a straight line, around corners, over piles or obstructions, or onto elevating conveyors.

two parts, combined projection time about an hour, and completely covers the install ai ion, operation, maintenance, and repair of the major types of bag closing sewing machines. This film was developed as an aid to the bag closing sewing machine ex perts who conduct the Bemis sewing machine clinics for customer plants.
