The Analytical Module is an integral assembly comprising a rapidly interchangeable column oven cover complete with dual injection ports, dual detector block, and columns. With additional Analytical Modules for the model 428 G C the user can, within minutes, completely alter the chromatography parameters with regard to columns, detectors, and even injectors thus providing unique flexibility for both routine laboratories with requirements for many gas chromatographs as well as the individual

The Analytical Module provides 360° accessability to each set of column connections, at eye level, and is therefore particularly well suited for the mounting of fragile columns, including glass capillary columns. All temperature control and monitoring electronics, as well as detector measurement and control electronics are of uniform size modular plug-in construction, thus providing the user with the flexibility to change the instrument capabilities economically.
