SACP starter grant award The Society for Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh is soliciting nominations for the 1998 starter grant. One grant of $20,000 will be awarded to an assistant professor in analytical chemistry to encourage highquality, innovative research by young faculty and to promote the training and development of graduate students. Assistant professors who have accepted a faculty appointment at a U.S. college or university since Dec. 31,1994, are eligible.
