Metropolitan Regional Meeting T h e Metropolitan Regional Meeting of the New York and N o r t h Jersey Sections of the ACS will be held at the Hotel New Yorker, New York, on J a n uary 22. There will be sessions devoted to analytical chemistry, biochemistry, chemical education, chemical m a r k e t i n g and economics, industrial and engineering, inorganic, physical, polymer, and organic chemistry, and safety. T h e luncheon speaker will be Prof. K. D . Irani, City College of New York, whose topic is entitled ' O u r Knowledge of N a t u r e . " The industrial and engineering chemistry program will include a group of papers on process explorations and control with analytical instruments. T h e analytical program and the process control papers are listed below. T h e analytical papers will be presented in the morning and the process control papers in the afternoon.
