One of our most effective put-downs. Put down almost any alkyd coating, almost anyplace, and you could be putting us down. That's because Procter & Gamble fatty acids get into more paints than 30 kindergarten kids on a rampage. Our fatty acids are an important part of protective alkyd coating formulations. They can be incorporated in

these coatings to provide a wide range of drying characteristics from quick drying exterior paints to high quality baking alkyds. And with remarkable resistance to yellowing. You may know about our premium quality linseed fatty acid. It's somewhat famous for its excellent color and color stability.

Compared with the use of whole oil in alkyd resins, P&G fatty acids offer other advantages too. You get greater formulation flexibility and faster reaction time, as well as exceptionally good color and color stability. We know a lot about fatty acids, in paints and many other applications. But maybe you

have some special ideas about their use. Write to: Procter & Gamble, Industrial Chemicals Sales, P.O. Box 599 E F , Cincinnati, Ohio 45201. In Europe, write to: Procter & Gamble, Industrial Chemicals Sales Dept, P.O. Box 9, Hayes Gate House, Hayes, Middlesex, England.
