Physical Chemistry Poster Awards: Winners from the Fall National ACS Meeting At the Fall 2002 National Meeting of the American Chemical Society in Boston, MA, the Physical Chemistry Division initiated graduate student poster awards. Five awardees were chosen and received cash awards of $300 each. The recipients follow. Matthew K. Brennaman, University of North Carolina. Lula Rosso, New York University. Calculating Free Energy Profiles Using Adiabatic Molecular Dynamics. Kevin S. Schneider, University of Michigan. The Effect of Surface Reconstruction on Molecular Chemisorption: A Scanning Tunneling Microscopy Study of H8Si8O12 on Au(111). The poster award program will be continued for the Spring 2003 National Meeting of the American Chemical Society to be held in New Orleans, LA.
