Pointer for Overhead Projector When usinp, an overhead projector it is desirable from time to time to point to a symbol or other small region of the transparency. Often, it is desirable to maintain such pointed identification far several minutes. T h e use of a pen or other silhouetted object as a pointer is often the method of choice, despite the fact that the rather large shadow on the screen can obliterate other important information. To avoid this. the use of a small narrow pointer is recommended. These are readily available at no extra cost from certain well known suppliers. As furnished by these suppliers, the "pointer" is delivered immersed in a usually proprietary mixture (often identified by the ratio "one to five," or, "dry") and impaling a small green edible morsel which typically is decorated with a red-colored center, alsoedihle.
