Polyethylene Capillary Pipets There are many times when a long flexible capillary pipet is needed, such as when filling or emptying ink reservoirs, applying suction to bdky recorder pens, and especially when cleaning long delicate tubes such 8s those used in nmr spectroscopy. We have devised a method for making such capillary pipets using ordinary polyethylene tubing. Polyethylene has the desirable properties of being relatively inert-even to chromic acid Bv makine om own cleanine solutioncflexible. and resistant to colla~sewhen suction is wmlied. .
