News Award for Outstanding Achievement in Mass Spectrometry will be present­ ed to A.O.C. Nier. Nier's award ad­ dress will be entitled "Mass Spec­ trometry in Perspective." The ACS Award in Pure Chemistry will be pre­ sented to Ben Freiser, who will speak on "Reactions of Metal Ions and Their Clusters in the Gas Phase Using Laser Ionization-Fourier Transform Mass Spectrometry" on Thursday, May 2. The Analytical Division dinner will be held Tuesday, April 30, at the Roney Pub, 2301 Collins Ave. The so­ cial hour begins at 6:00 P.M. with din­ ner following at 7:00 P.M. Cost is $20 per person.
