One of the more common and frustrating problems encountered in sampling for chromatography is syringe plunger bending. The reason: most conventional, unsupported microsyringe plungers are extremely fragile and require delicate handling, particularly in the smaller sizes. Our Pressure-Lok CG-130 is a microsyringe designed to overcome plunger bending. Its primary distinguishing feature is a heavy, reinforced plunger which is housed within an enlarged upper section of the barrel. This larger section acts as a guide for the plunger. The smallef plunger section is confined within the guide portion even when the plunger is
retracted. This restricts the flexing of the plunger and therefore prevents it from bending. With our Pressure-Lok CG-130, you are able to achieve the quick and positive sample injection needed for high precision chromatography. Our 5 and 10 microliter CG-130s are also equipped with smooth-acting Teflon*plunger tips to insure leak-tightness to 250 psi. They are offered in fixed or removable needle versions with an optional repro-adapter for repetitive sampling.
